Pour yourself a glass of water, make yourself a cup of tea or hot chocolate, go on your porch or take a walk around the block, water your plants, draw a tarot card, sit in front of the fire, do whatever you have to do to temporarily remove yourself from the chaotic flow of life, and reflect. Think about what you want to accomplish today, think about what positive changes you can make so you and those around you can be happier, think about what person you want to be and what’s holding you back from being that, think about what will bring you the most peace and satisfaction. Forgive yourself for past mistakes, be kind and honest in how you reflect upon yourself, accept that you are whole already and not missing parts, acknowledge that there is always room for growth, applaud yourself for how far you’ve come already, love yourself without apologizing! Then, jump back into your day with a softer heart and clearer head. 🙂
